Robert Erikson Obituary passed away peacefully at the age of 98 on January 2, 2018. Preceded in death by his mother and father, Helen & Richard; wife, Helen; siblings, Richard and Helen Hanson; children, Pamela, Jeffrey, Joel. Survived by his children: Vicki Johnson (Darryl), Robert Jr (Janelle), John (Karen); 16 grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren, 1 great great grandchild. Robert was a decorated WWII veteran (bronze star and 2 purple hearts) and a paratrooper in the 82 Airborne. Robert graduated from SCSU and went to work at Goodyear Tire & Rubber Co. for 16 years. After Goodyear, he started his own Manufacturer's Rep agency and retired in 1989. The family would like to thank the staff at the Minneapolis Veterans Home for the terrific care he received for the 2 years he was there. A visitation will be held at 10:00 AM on Tuesday January 9 with Mass of Christian Burial to follow at 11:00 at the Church of St. Therese of Deephaven, 18325 Minnetonka Blvd. 55391.
