Robert O'Connor Obituary OConnor, Robert (Bob) age 83, of Wayzata, passed away peacefully after a long battle with Lewy Body Dementia on Thursday, Oct. 5, 2017, at St. Therese of New Hope. Bob was preceded in death by his parents Martin & Blanche; brothers William (Dutch) & Richard (Dick); sister Marcella (Marcy). Survived by wife of 54 years, Georgia; daughter, Shawn; son, Pat (Deidre); grandchildren, Caitlin, Rick, Aubrianna, Isabella, Sarah and Meghan; great-grandson; Ryan, and many loving friends and relatives. The family would like to thank; the staff at St. Therese 1 West for their kindness and care of Bob; the hospice care team from North Memorial; niece Trisha for the many evenings she spent listening to his stories and the wonderful dinners she prepared. A celebration of Bobs life will be held on Sat., Oct 21, 2017. Visitation is from 11:00-1:00, with a brief service at 1:00 at David Lee Funeral Home, 1220 Wayzata Blvd E, Wayzata.
