Robert Swenson Obituary Swenson, Robert W. age 78 of Wayzata died July 1, 2012. The sun has set for a great man. Many of you will remember his red beard and his inviting smile. He coached a lot of you, was a good friend to all, and an excellent father and role model. So say a prayer, do a shout out, raise your glass, slam the puck into the back of the net; whatever you do, do one for our dadbecause we are going to miss him. Preceded in death by wife Joan; daughter, Karen Swenson; parents, August and Gerda. Survived by sons, Paul, David (Diane), and Eric (Christi); grandchildren, Sean, Alex, Kate, and Carl; sister, Margaret Riebe and other relatives and friends. Mass of Christian Burial 11 AM Thursday, July 5, 2012 at The Church of St. Bartholomew, 630 E. Wayzata Blvd, Wayzata. Visitation one hour prior to Mass at church.
