Robert Swenson Obituary Swenson, Robert L. The Admiral Age 87, of Excelsior, died March 6, 2009. Preceded in death by wife, Virginia; parents, Ed and Rose Swenson; sister, Betty Lanneberg. Survived by daughters, Sandy Jacobson (Eric), Debbie Johnson (Bob); grandchildren, Tyler and Laura, and Spencer; brothers, Don and wife Jeanne, and Roy and wife Mary Lou; sisters, Grace Donley, Lora Brothers and husband Bert, Susan Guenther and husband Tony; nieces and nephews. Member of the Wayzata American Legion. Robert loved hunting, fishing and retirement. Funeral service Wednesday, 11 AM at Our Savior Lutheran Church, 23290 Hwy 7, Excelsior. Visitation Tuesday 4-8 PM at David Lee Funeral Home 1220 East Wayzata Blvd., Wayzata and one hour prior to service at church on Wednesday. Interment Fort Snelling National Cemetery.
