Robert Yount Obituary Robert Eugene Yount, age 88, of Minnetonka, MN was called home to be with Jesus on December 18, 2016. He was born on September 8, 1928. On December 18, 1948 he was united in holy matrimony with Darlene Juanita Shaw. He was later baptized and confirmed in the Christian faith on March 22, 1959. Robert answered Gods call to study for the Holy Ministry and graduated from Concordia Theological Seminary, Springfield, Illinois in 1967. He served numerous congregations in the Lutheran ChurchMissouri Synod, and retired from active, full-time ministry from Faith Lutheran Church in Kewanee, IL. Robert leaves to mourn his passing his wife Darlene, his daughter Patricia (Mervin) Rocheleau, and his sons James (Alice) Yount and Allen (Nichole) Yount. He is also survived by five grandchildren, seven great grandchildren, as well as several nieces and nephews. Memorial service will be held at Glory of Christ Lutheran Church, 4040 County Road 101 North, Plymouth, MN at 11:00 AM With visitation 1 hour prior on Wednesday, December 28, 2016. Interment was at Ft. Snelling National Cemetery.
