Roger Meyer Obituary Age 81 of Maple Plain, passed away January 25, 2019. Roger Wayne Meyer was born on July, 16th, 1937. Roger served in the U.S. Army from April of 1956 to Febuary of 1958 and then was an Army reserve for 3 more years. Roger married Pat McKown on May, 21st, 1960, they had two children, daughter Kim (Randy) O'Brien and son Chris (Wendy) Meyer, along with four grandchildren, Missy, Dusty (Katie) O'Brien, Emma, and Brennen. Pat preceded Roger in death on October 6, 2013. Roger worked for Meyer Brothers Dairy, he had a service station in Maple Plain and then retired from the City of Maple Plain. He was a West Hennipen Public Safety Reserve along with his wife, Pat for many years and he was a proud member of the Maple Plain Fire Department where he retired after 30 years of service. He was also a very active and long time member of Maple Plain Community Church. Roger loved God, his family, ice cream, coffee and the great outdoors. Funeral Wednesday January 30, 11 AM at Maple Plain Community Church, 1815 Budd Avenue North. Visitation Tuesday 4-7 PM AT THE CHURCH. Interment Lewis Cemetery.
