Roland Jensen Obituary Jensen, Roland J. Rollie of Golden Valley, died peacefully at home surrounded by his family on February 15, 2006 at age 76. Rollie spent 34 years with NSP which included being appoin- ted Chairman and CEO of NRG Energy. He was a volunteer construction consultant for the Phase I and II for the Minneapolis Convention Center and its hotel and a longtime member of Timothy Lutheran Church in St. Louis Park. He was preceded in death by his parents, Cicely sisters, Shirley Jensen & Joyce Magner. Survived by Deloris, his wife of 47 years; daughter, Georgianne Jensen-Bohn and husband KC; son, RC & wife Cheryl; grandchildren, Jenna, Ryan, Megan, Kristina, Aric sisters, Mary Ann Willett & husband Bob, Jean Klein & husband Rieny; other loving relatives & many friends. Funeral Service 11:00 AM Saturday at King of Grace Lutheran Church, 6000 Duluth Street in Golden Valley. Visitation 5-8 PM Friday (Tonight) at David Lee Funeral Home in Wayzata & 1 hr. prior to service at church. Private interment Fort Snelling National Cemetery. Memorials preferred to RND Jensen Scholarships at Timothy Lutheran Elementary School, St. Croix LHS, West LHS or SDSU.
