Ronald Mason Obituary
Mason, Ronald Vernon was born in Dallas, Texas March 9th 1937. He was taken from his heartbroken family to be with the Lord on October 15, 2011. Ron loved his family and is survived by his wife, Martha; sons, Ronald (Jacqui), Richard, Randall (Margaret); grandchildren, Laura, Max, Julia, Chloe, and Eli who were the light of his life; sister, Brenda, brother, James; and many nieces and nephews in Texas. Ron attended SMU on a football scholarship. He received a degree in Business and a Masters degree in Finance. He also attended University of Texas at Arlington for his Electrical Engineering degree. Ron moved to Minnesota in 1969 to work for Electro-Craft Corporation. He retired as President of Federal Cartridge in 1998. Rons greatest passion outside of his family was golf. He played for many years at Wayzata Country Club and served as president there for two years. "I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith. Now there is in store for me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous Judge, will award to me on that dayand not only to me, but also to all who have longed for his appearing." 2 Tim 4:7-8Memorial service to be held Tuesday, October 25 at 4 pm with visitation starting at 3 pm at Ridgewood Church 4420 S.
