Ruby Pribble Obituary
Pribble, Ruby Faye Our dearest Ruby Faye Pribble passed away peacefully, surrounded by family, on May 17th, 2010. Ruby was the perfect name for our beloved mother, grandmother, sister and friend, because she truly sparkled with life. She will be missed. Ruby was born in Alpha, Minnesota on September 6, 1931. She graduated from Minneapolis North High School in 1949 and married James D. Pribble shortly afterward. A loving mother and career woman, Ruby leaves us with countless memories of her kind touch and infectious laugh. Commitment to faith and community were central to her life, several local charities benefited from her generosity, and she was an active member at Calvary Lutheran Church in Golden Valley. She enjoyed traveling, and in her retirement she made trips to Europe, China and Australia. But most of all, Ruby loved to spend time with her family and friends and kept us all connected with her vibrant spirit. Ruby is preceded in death by her husband, James D. Pribble; father, Raymond Hanson; mother, Ruth Peterson and stepfather, Elmer Peterson. She is survived by her brother, Ray (Jillayne) Hanson; daughters, Susan Riley and Diane (Mark) Kamke and son, Spencer (Shari) Pribble; grandchildren, Brandon (Amy) Riley, Kyle (Hannah) Kamke, Paige Kamke, James D. Pribble II and Cody Pribble; sisters and brothers-in-law, cousins, nephews, nieces who love her dearly.
