Ruth Decker Obituary Decker, Ruth Jean, age 79 of Plymouth, was called home to her Heavenly Father on March 6, 2024. Born in 1944 in Estherville, Iowa, Ruth spent the majority of her life residing in Minnetonka. She was preceded in death by beloved husband Warren, whom she was married to for close to 45 years. A loving mother, Ruth was passionate about her grandchildren and her love of Christ. She devoted endless hours at Bethesda Thrift Shop and was a dedicated member of Glory of Christ Lutheran Church. Ruth is survived by daughter, Nicole and husband Stacy Gomke, grandsons, William, Samuel, and Nathaniel; daughter, Erin and husband Jon Marlier, granddaughter Sophie and grandson Ethan, as well as sister, Graceann Wendland and many other loved relatives and friends. Funeral 11:00 a.m. Monday, March 11 at Glory of Christ Lutheran Church 4040 County Road 101, Plymouth with visitation one hour prior to the service at church. In lieu of flowers, memorials are asked to support Trinity First School in north Minneapolis, a mission effort close to Ruths heart.
