Ruth Emery Obituary Emery, Ruth "Ann" Age 81, of Lutsen, Minnesota and Tucson, Arizona, passed away April 5th. Survived by Don, loving husband of 61 years; daughter, Sandy Nebel (Mark); son, Scott Emery (Colleen); grandson, Eric Nebel; granddaughters, Claire and Anna Emery; sister, Sina Lu Kaiser; brother, Jim Cox; and nieces and nephews. Ann grew up in southeast Missouri, attended college, then served as financial secretary at Purdue University where she met Don. They moved to Minnesota where they raised their family. Since retiring they have wintered in Tucson and summered in Minnesota. Ann cared deeply about family, church, school and the community.She was active in PTA, Women's Club, League of Women Voters, and church committees. Ann enjoyed stitchery club, gourmet cooking, hiking, birding, painting and traveling. A memorial service will be held Friday, May 9th at 11:00 a.m. at the Wayzata Community Church (Chapel), 125 Wayzata Blvd. E., Wayzata, MN 55391.
