Ruth Foty Obituary Foty (nee Day), Ruth Evelyn Went home to be with her Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ, on June 30, 2007, at 90 years of age. Preceded in death by her parents, Albert and Hannah Day; four brothers and four sisters. Survived by her husband, Joseph Foty; seven children, Patricia (Bryce) Krohn, Ruth (Robert) Peterson, Joanne (Donald) Frost, Mary (Larry) Jefferson, Carolyn (Dan) King, Deborah (Peter) Swenson, Thomas (Wendy) Foty; and 24 grandchildren, 28 great-grandchildren. Also, survived by sister, Elizabeth Stidman; many cousins, nieces and nephews. Celebration of her life Friday, July 6, 1 PM at Ridgewood Church, 4420 Highway 101, Minnetonka. Visitation, Thursday, July 5, from 5-8 PM at David Lee Funeral Home, 1220 E. Wayzata Blvd., Wayzata and 1 hour before the service at the church.
