Sarah graduated from Valley High School in 1949 and went to Western Kentucky State college where she met and married Lyman Lester Mouser, Jr. from Whitehaven, Tennessee. After college they moved to Chicago and then to Minneapolis in 1960. Sarah raised her three boys on her own in Golden Valley where she worked at the Golden Valley House, eventually having the bar and restaurant named Sarah's Bar and Grill in her honor. She was somewhat of an icon with her customers who knew her for her warm smile, her sense of humor and her caring nature. She continued putting smiles on peoples faces at the Minnetonka Byerlys Ice Cream Parlor where she worked until retirement. Sarah was a wonderful, kind and loving person who attracted many friends and admirers. Her door was always open and everyone was welcome. She had a quiet strength and strong will that helped us through both the good and bad times. She was deeply devoted to her family and showered us with love and praise throughout her life. Nothing was more important than her grandchildren who filled her heart with joy each and every day. She was a tremendous role model who believed anything is possible if you put your mind to it. Grandma Sarah was a treasure to her family. She will be deeply missed and always remembered. Service to celebrate her life will be held Friday, April 20, at 2:00 pm at Wayzata Community Church, 125 Wayzata Blvd. East, Wayzata, MN.
