Scott Jerde Obituary On Monday, January 17th, Scott Jerde Sr. passed away at Methodist Hospital. Scott was preceded in death by his father Theodore, mother Patricia, and sister Susan. He was survived by his son Scott Jerde Jr. (Angie), daughter Angie Jerde (Cody), grandson Levi and brothers Douglas and Kevin. Scotts passion for operating his dump truck in the summer was seasonally replaced by his love of ice fishing in the winter. On Sunday afternoons it was guaranteed he could be found in one place, and that was watching his Vikings. Whether it was live in person or on television, for three hours out of every Sunday in the fall he turned into his own version of a purple people eater. In 2019 all of these passions were trumped by the birth of his Grandson Levi. There was nothing that could bring a smile to his face faster than being able to spend time with that little guy. Funeral service will be held at Christ Lutheran Church, 5084 Main Street East, Maple Plain, MN at 11:00 and visitation at 10:00 on Wednesday January 26.
