Sharon Greenshields Obituary Greenshields, Sharon Patricia(Joyce) Age 77, passed away peacefully after a long battle with breast cancer on December 23, 2017. Sharon will be deeply missed by her husband AJ; children, Dan Greenshields, Laura Schleck (Dan), Tom Greenshields (Elise). Adored by grandchildren Molly, Katie, Jack, Max, Andrew, Ashley, Anna, Joe, Tony, and Scott. Sharon graduated from St. Catherine University in St. Paul, went on to earn Masters Degrees in Psychology and Special Education and loved working with students as a Special Education Teacher and a School Psychologist in the Burnsville and Robbinsdale School Districts. Upon retirement, Sharon enjoyed spending winters in Ft. Myers Beach and Minnesota in the summer. Sharon relished giving back by volunteering at local food shelters, libraries and local art functions. In addition to cherished time with family. Sharon developed a deep love of painting, particularity landscapes in both watercolor and oil. She will be remembered for her generosity towards others, compassion and love of her family. Funeral service 1:00 pm Wednesday, January 3, 2017 at Trinity Episcopal Church, 322 2nd Street, Excelsior. Visitation beginning at church at 11:30 am. In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred to Trinity Episcopal Church in Excelsior and MN Animal Humane Society.
