Obituary

Shirley Crinklaw Obituary It is with profound sadness and heavy hearts that we announce the unexpected passing of Shirley May Crinklaw, who left us on April 10, 2024, at the age of 83. Shirley was a woman of deep faith, which guided her through all aspects of her life and imbued her with a boundless capacity for love and kindness. Shirleys greatest joy in life was her family, especially her beloved grandson. She dedicated her life to nurturing her family, offering them not just her love but her wisdom and strength. In her youth, Shirley had an adventurous spirita trait that led her on a memorable solo journey across the country from Connecticut to Denver. It was there she met her husband, John Crinklaw, to whom she was married for 60 years. One of their fondest pastimes was playing golf, a joy they shared with their children and grandson. An avid gardener, her thoughtful gardens reflected her personality and her love of nature. It was here she found peace and solace, reflected on lifes blessings, and imparted life lessons to those she loved. Shirley is survived by her husband, John Crinklaw; her loving daughters, Dawn Lawyer and Diana Crinklaw-Bowe, their spouses, Craig Lawyer and Jimmy Bowe; her grandson, Spencer Bowe; her beloved sister, Violet Welch, and her cherished Teacup Yorkie, Sadie, who will all miss her more than words can express. Her spirit, teachings, and love will live on through them and all who knew her. Shirley was laid to rest at a private family funeral at Holy Name of Jesus. In June, we will gather once more for a celebration of her life, where friends and family can share stories and honor the legacy of a truly remarkable woman who will be profoundly missed. The family wishes to thank the 2nd floor North Unit of North Memorial, Robbinsdale, who provided exceptional and compassionate care.
