Shirley Thompson Obituary Thompson, Shirley Age 71, of Wayzata, passed away March 5, 2016 of cancer. Survived by her mother, Lois; sister, Sue. Graduated from Westmont College, travelled through Europe, lived in New England, worked as a copywriter and secretary. She dabbled in poetry, preferring free verse. Funeral service Thursday, March 10, 1 PM at Wayzata Community Church (Chapel), 125 Wayzata Boulevard East, Wayzata. Visitation one hour prior to the service.
