Stanley Gregory Obituary Gregory, Stanley Brooks Passed away peacefully, surrounded by the love of her family and dear friends, Wed- nesday, May 28, at Abbott- Northwestern Hospital. She was preceded in death by her husband, William Daniel Gregory; daughter, Lisa Brooks Gregory and grand- daughter, Sage Beddingfield Gregory. She is survived by her daughters, Pamela Gregory, Laurence Francis (Kenneth), and Alison MacArthur (John); son, William Daniel Gregory (Sacha); grandchildren, Brooks Butterfield, Molly Wilson (Mike), Chase and Hayley Francis, Ella and Anna Gregory. And her cat Boola. She had a lively spirit and zest for life and prided herself on her forward thinking, giving passionate support to all the interests and causes that were important to her. At an early age she was a Native American at heart and was initiated into the Blackfoot Tribe as White Swan"". She was a former national treasurer of Planned Parenthood and President of Planned Parenthood of Minnesota, first president of Children's Theatre Company of Minneapolis and trustee of the Minneapolis Institute of Arts. She attended Northrop Collegiate School, graduated from Miss Porter's School, Farmington CT, and attended Sarah Lawrence College, Bronxville NY. She was an elegant woman with an insatiable desire to explore the world and create beautiful environments through her love of architecture, art, culture and gardening. Her family wishes to extend their heartfelt thanks to her care givers. They treated her with such kindness and respect and provided her great comfort which allowed her to live her last years with such dignity, humor and grace. Memorial service will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday, June 3, at Lakewood Cemetery Chapel. A reception will follow at Lafayette Club, Minnetonka Beach. Memorials may be sent to Children's Theatre Company of Minneapolis, Planned Parenthood of Minnesota or the donor's choice. No flowers please. David Lee Funeral Home 952-473-5577
