Teal Schmitz Obituary Teal Thomas Schmitz, beloved husband, son, uncle, brother, nephew, cousin, and friend, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, May 27, 2025, at the young age of 40. Teals life, though far too brief, was filled with kindness, curiosity, tenacity, and a heart that touched lives. To know Teal was to feel his passionhe could make a friend out of a stranger in under 5 minutes. He believed in the hearts of people and would give the shirt off his back before you knew it was needed. Born on March 19, 1985, Teal had an immense passion for hunting, a deep love for the outdoors, and an unwavering belief in the goodness of people. Finding his true soulmate, Amber, they built a beautiful life up north. Taken from this world all too soon, Teals gentle strength, helpful attitude, and soul-touching laughter will be remembered by all who were lucky enough to have known him. Even now, he continues to give everything he has to people as a donor, helping so many who he will never get to meet but giving them the best gift he canlife! A celebration of Teals life will be held on Thursday, June 5, 2025 from 2-6 pm, where friends and family are invited to share memories, honor his legacy, and find comfort in one another. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to help cover funeral expenses and support the family in the aftermath. Teals light may no longer shine in this world, but its warmth will remain in our hearts forever.
