Thomas Curry Obituary
Curry, Thomas Lennon of Wayzata, died on October 12, 2007. Tom was born in St. Paul February 11, 1924. He was educated at Cretin Academy and St. Thomas College where he was a valued member and captain of the golf team. He proudly served in WWII in the infantry as a sergeant. Having been wounded in the Normandy invasion, he was awarded a purple heart. He loved the game of golf and was one of the earliest members and remained a long-standing member of Wayzata Country Club. Tom was not only an excellent golfer but was a well-known and well-respected businessman in his community. Having spent over twenty years with 3M, he later joined his wife Nancy at Roger Fazendin Realtors where together they pioneered as a successful married real estate team. Tom will be remembered for his great humor, his loyalty as a friend and for his love and devotion to his family. He leaves behind his beloved wife, Nancy; his son, Timothy Curry; daughter, Kathryn Curry Swenson; son-in-law, Jack Swenson; granddaughter, Kylee Swenson Gordon; his dog and best pal, Eddie and many, many dear friends. We will all miss his love, his humor and especially his one-liners. Mass of Christian Burial Wednesday, 10:30 AM, with visitation 1 hour prior at the church of St. Bartholomew, 630 E.
