He and his wife and growing family returned in 1961 where he worked for Apache Corporation, Nothrstar Public Relations, and Courage Center before retiring. Tom had a passion for his family and friends, as well as running. His marathon heart and his love for the good run was a joy not only to his running cohorts but to his family, neighbors and all who came to know and love him. An intuitive and gifted writer Tom was graced with a capacity for seeing with the heart and capturing what was real, essential and beautiful in words. His articles in Minnesota Distance Runner Association and Courage Connection publications leave with us an imprint of passion and compassion to take into the future, one day at a time.
