Thomas Moran Obituary Moran, Thomas J. T.J. Age 88 of Deephaven, formerly of Kearney, NJ, passed away June 1, 2007. T.J. was a proud veteran of WW II. He landed on D-Day June 6, 1944 on Normandy Beach, Where he fought in 5 major battles throughout Germany and France. And he received 9 medals and citations. Longtime employee of Prudential Insurance Company and worked through retirement at Sears where he gained the recognition of becoming the number one salesman. Active member of Mpls Aqua Jesters, Knights of Columbus, American Legion and was also an avid golfer. Preceded in death by wives, Irene and Jeanette; brothers, Jim and Larry. Survived by 5 children, Arline Glenn of Tonka Bay, Jane (Tom) Shotton of Valparaiso, IN, Cheryl Moran of Deephaven, Tom Moran of Eden Prairie, Steve (Linda) Moran of Idaho Springs, CO; grandchildren, Sani Glenn, Debi (Kirk) Bernhagen, Kristin Moran, Eric Moran, Angie Reeves, Amber and Andi Moran; great-grandchildren, Nicole, Jack, Elliott and Sam; many nieces, nephews in New Jersey. A special thanks to the wonderful neighbors, Dave Bartus and the Kreutter and Sayer families, and the special friends at Cub Foods.
