Veteran of WWII as an Aviation Machinists Mate 3C, flew a PB4Y-2 Privateer Bomber in the Pacific Theatre with VPB-109 Squadron. Preceded in death by parents, Merle and Inez; and daughter, Jill. Survived by wife, Joanne; son, Mark; cousins, Kent (Annette) Hoffman and Tommy Herring, and other relatives and friends. Funeral Monday December 6, 2010 11 AM at David Lee Funeral Home, 1220 East Wayzata Blvd, Wayzata. Visitation Sunday 5-7 PM and 1 hour prior to service at the funeral home. Interment Ft. Snelling Cemetery. Memorials preferred to the Salvation Army or the Hamel VFW Post 5903.
