Verda Bergquist Obituary Biography age 97 of Maple Plain passed away peacefully Monday, August 3rd. Preceded in death by her parents, husband, daughter, grandson, two sisters and four brothers. Verda was given an employee of the year award as a caregiver and was an active church member and a longtime resident of Stillwater before moving to Maple Plain. She and her husband enjoyed traveling to Europe to see family and visiting her homestead in Norway where relatives reside. Survived by son, Richard (Debra); daughter, Constance Berindei; grandchildren, DeeDee, Daneen and Tatiana; 4 great-grandchildren and many relatives and friends. Funeral service 11:00 AM Friday, August 7, 2015 at Maple Plain Seventh Day Adventist Church, 4849 Main St. E., Maple Plain. Visitation 3-5 PM Thursday at David Lee Funeral Home, 1220 E. Wayzata Blvd., Wayzata and one hour prior to the service at church. Interment Fairview Cemetery, Stillwater. Facts Death: August 3, 2015
