Virgene Thompson Obituary Thompson, Virgene (nee Swenson), age 83, of Minnetonka, passed away Feb. 4, 2006. Preceded in death by husband, Howard. Survived by daughters, Gail Mosley, Barbara Meyer (Peter); sons, Charles (Joan) and Howard Jr.; grandchildren, K. Michelle Mosley, Christina Mosley Swenson (Reed), Max and Owen Meyer; great-grandchildren, Cameron, Elizabeth, and Christian Swenson, and sister, Yvonne Norby (Bob). Virgene married Howard Thompson, founder of Weavewood, Inc. in 1948. Prior to that, she was one of the first stewardesses for Northwest Airlines. She was a full-time wife and homemaker. Services 11 AM Wed., Feb. 8, with visitation at 10 AM at David Lee Funeral Home, 1220 E. Wayzata Blvd., Wayzata, MN (952-473-5577). Interment at Groveland Cemetery. Memorials are preferred.
