William 'Bill' Ingwalson Obituary Ingwalson, William A. (Jr.) died on December 26, 2024, surrounded by his family. At 91 years old, Bill liked to say he could pass for 89 (in dim light). Born September 18, 1933, in Crosby, North Dakota, Bill attended the University of North Dakota and belonged to the Kappa Sigma fraternity. After graduating in 1955, Bill earned his wings in the Air Force and served as a B-47 navigator in the Strategic Air Command, based in Plattsburgh, New York. In 1960, Bill and his wife, Jan, moved to the Wayzata area, where they have lived for 64 years and been members of the Lafayette Country Club for over 30 years. Bill initially worked at IBM and then went into the stocks and bonds business for the remainder of his career. Bill was a loving husband, father, and grandfather whose sense of humor brought his family and friends laughter. He is survived by his beloved wife, Janet; daughter, Judith (Craig) Lyon; grandchildren, Andrew (Sarah) Johnson and Brianna (Ryan) Jennings; and great- grandchild, Colton Jennings. Memorial service 11 a.m. on Saturday, February 1, at Wayzata Community Church. Visitation one hour prior to the service. Memorials preferred to the donors favorite charity or Wayzata Community Church.
