William Johnson Obituary Age 89, born August 15, 1927 in Devils Lake, North Dakota where he spent his youth with his parents, three brothers and two sisters. He moved to Minneapolis in the early 40s where he most recently worked for St. Louis Park in the Assessing Department. He is survived by his wife, Elsie; son, Steve (Melissa); daughter, Susan (Kris); granddaughters, Laura and Lea Ichimura- all of whom were the most important joy of his life. Also survived by his brother, Ardell (Ruth); brother and sister-in-law, Ray (Fay); plus many nieces, nephews and friends. Throughout his life, he traveled to many destinations in the U.S. and Europe and enjoyed watching his granddaughters play fast pitch softball. Bill was a long time member of Westwood Lutheran Church, 9001 Cedar Lake Road in St Louis Park, where the memorial service will be held on Thursday, February 2, at 11 AM with visitation 1 hour prior. Private burial at Lakewood Cemetery. Memorials preferred to Westwood Lutheran Church or Hospice, 2845 Hamline Avenue North, Roseville, MN, 55113.
