William Mackie Obituary Mackie William H. Bill Mackie. After living with cancer for 5 1/2 years, Bill died May 8, 2005 at age 69. He was born in New Rochelle, NY and was a longtime resident of Plymouth. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Cheryl Anne Mackie. He is loved and will be deeply missed by his wife, Bev; children, Denise Holtkamp and Dave Mackie; grandchildren, Danny Holtkamp, his bud and Cheryl Holtkamp, his budette will also miss their pop-pop. A Celebration of Bill's life will be held at David Lee Funeral Home in Wayzata 3:00 PM Friday with fellowship to follow. Friends may visit one hour prior to service. In lieu of flowers, memorials, preferred to Park Nicollet Foundation, hospice care or Leukemia & Lymphoma Society.
