William Minkema Obituary Age 87, of Minnetonka, passed away October 28, 2015. Loving husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, Korean war veteran, chemist, artist, traveler, fisherman and coach. Preceded in death by parents John and Marie Minkema. Survived by wife, Dolores; daughters, Barbara (Peter) Krumhardt, Linda (Bob) Haggerty, Marie (David) Chinander; son, Robert (Tess) Minkema; twelve grandchildren and eleven greatgrandchildren. Bills life will be celebrated at a memorial service to be held Saturday, November 7, 2015 at 10 a.m. at Wayzata Community Church, 125 Wayzata Blvd. E, Wayzata, MN. Reception to follow service at the church. In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred to: Wayzata Community Church, Leukemia Research Foundation or Wounded Warrior Project.
