William Nichols Obituary Nichols, William T., born September 15, 1925 in Faribault, MN, son of Samuel & Dora. Bill served in the Air Force and graduated from St. John's University. He worked in various managerial capacities with the Trane Co. in LaCrosse, WI and Scranton, PA and McQuay in Minneapolis, MN. He concluded his career in Rome, Italy, as President of McQuay Europa, and was a mentor to many young professionals. Bill was a longtime member of St. Bartholomew's Parish, Wayzata, where he served in many capacities. He is survived by his wife, Jary; sister, Marilyn Lederle; sister-in-law, Andrea Nichols; sons, Larry (MaryLou), Bryan (Sheri), and Craig (Marie); grandchildren, Billy (Monica), Dave (Sylvia), Brandi (Joshua), Daniel, Gabrielle, Elizabeth, Carlene, Christene; four great- grandchildren and many loving nephews, nieces and friends. Bill is preceded in death by his parents, twin brother Robert and daughter Margaret. Mass of Christian Burial 11 AM Tuesday, December 27, 2011 at the Church of St. Bartholomew, 630 E. Wayzata Blvd., Wayzata with visitation one hour prior to Mass at church.
