William Reese Obituary
Reese, William H., Jr. Bill age 77, of Orono, died April 25, 2008. Preceded in death by his parents, Harold Bill and Edith Reese of St. Paul and Cumberland, Wisconsin. Survived by his wife, Elizabeth (""Bette"", Beth""). Bill was a St. Paul Harding High graduate, veteran of the Korean War, 1948-1952 and he attended the U of M. Bill worked at the Star Tribune in the 50's and he also worked in the graphic arts field for years and was eventually a co-owner of a small company. He was a member of GCIU #1 until his retirement. Bill loved skiing, dancing (swing), boating, and golf. He taught ski lessons in the evenings at Theodore Wirth and enjoyed his retirement job as a starter at Timber Creek Golf Course. Bill was a member at the Lincoln Continental Club and currently was restoring a '56 Continental in Tucson. He was a perfectionist and was proud of his work. He loved his home at Saddlebrook Country Club in Tucson and enjoyed 14 years as a snowbird. Funeral service 1:30 pm Tuesday, April 29, 2008 at David Lee Funeral Home, 1220 E. Wayzata Blvd., Wayzata with visitation one hour prior to the service. Refreshments will follow at the Narrows, 3380 Shoreline Drive, Navarre at 2:45 pm. Private Interment, Fort Snelling National Cemetery. Bill enjoyed life and especially loved animals and nature.
