Beverly J. (Nygaard) Schultz, 96
Graduated: Medina, MN February 5, 2021
Bev was born in Minneapolis on November 9, 1924. She was but 5 when her father died, leaving her mother and 3 siblings to carry on through the hardscrabble Depression years. But, they were a joyful unit residing in a welcoming home — a family knit together with strong ties of laughter and love.
On February 6, 1948 mom married her forever partner, Kenneth Schultz. Married for 66 years, they remained inseparable until Ken’s passing in 2014 at the age of 93. Preceded in death by beloved siblings, Roland Nygaard, and Joyce (Nygaard) Merrick; granddaughter, Sarah Griffin. Bev is survived by dear brother, Ed Nygaard; daughters, Susan Thompson (Larry), Judy Torgerson (Ron); sons, David Schultz (Meg), Bruce Schultz (Jane); 8 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren, and many loving in-laws, nieces and nephews
A celebration of Bev’s extraordinary life will be held at Wayzata Free Church, 705 Highway 101 North, Plymouth on February 20, 2021 with visitation at 1pm and the service to follow at 2pm.

“Some golden daybreak Jesus will come
Some golden daybreak battles all won
He’ll shout the victory, break through the blue
Some golden daybreak, for me and for you.”
