Shilling, Bruce Bowen, September 24, 1939-April 19, 2022, Woodland. Born in Fremont, Ohio, son of A. Vaughn and Lettie O. Shilling. A graduate of Williams College and the University of Michigan Medical School, he practiced medicine in Minneapolis with a special interest in congenital cranial-cervical-facial deformities. For ten years he travelled to Budapest, Hungary performing pediatric craniofacial surgery at the Neurological Institute. He loved working in his woods, 18th century Philadelphia furniture and traveling the world. His life championed generosity, character, service and excellence. He lives on in the memories of those he cared for, counseled, encouraged and loved. Survived by wife Marcy; daughter Heather and son Cameron; five grandchildren; brother A. Gary Shilling and sister Jane Emerson. A private family remembrance has been held.
