Age 84 of Minnetonka, passed away on June 24th from Covid-19, a little over 2 weeks after her husband Paul’s passing. Charlotte and Paul were happily married for over 66 years. They had three children; Mark (Darlene), Jill, and Matthew (deceased in 2005). Charlotte had two grandchildren who loved her dearly; Abigaile (daughter of Matthew) and Luke (son of Mark). She was preceded in death by her son Matthew, husband Paul, sister LaVerne (Collins), and their parents Fred and Ruby Ost (Gayken). She was the matriarch of the family (and extended family) and hostess extraordinaire. Holidays and parties were her specialty. This translated to a successful career in Tupperware, and many years of “card club” with a circle of close friends. Charlotte was a proud graduate of Minnetonka High School; Class of 1955. She was a part of the Alumni Association, in which she helped plan class reunions and maintained decades long friendships. In her free time she enjoyed traveling the globe, decorating cakes, playing cards, singing in choir, salmon fishing with her husband, and taking weekend trips to the cabin in Alexandria, MN. Most of all, she enjoyed a cuppa tea and a chat. For the past 10 years, Charlotte and Paul wintered in Punta Gorda, FL. Memorial Service to celebrate her life will be held at Wayzata Community Church on Friday July 8th; visitation beginning at 10am, service at 11am (a light lunch will be served). Interment at Groveland Cemetery in Minnetonka to follow. Memorials to The Dragonfly Project.
