Dolores Lorraine (Krueger) Burke

Burke, Dolores age 97, of Maple Plain, MN, passed away on January 14, 2022, surrounded by her loving family. 

She was preceded in death by her husband, Harold, her parents, Herman and Beda Krueger, her son Bruce and daughter in law Faye Burke, her siblings and 4 precious great grand babies. Survived by daughter, Sharon Johnson, grandchildren; Jeremy (Jen) Johnson, Sara Johnson & Darrel (Naomi) Burke. A cherished GIGI to Adam Johnson and a beloved great grandmother to: Kristine Waddell, Dustie Wurzburger, James Collette, Levi Burke and many great-great grandchildren.

She had many wonderful nieces, nephews and friends, who valued their time with her.

She was born May 18, 1924 to Herman & Beda Krueger in Loretto, MN. In May 1942 she graduated from Rockford High School.

She was married April 18, 1946 to Harold Burke in Monterey, CA, starting their 20 plus year adventure with the Army. During this time they had two children Bruce and Sharon (Johnson) and lived in six states and Japan.

After retirement from the Army they returned to Maple Plain, MN where she became an active member of the community and church.

Anyone Dolores met had a special place in her heart. She will be greatly missed by all of her family and friends!  La De Da!!!

Visitation 5:00 – 7:00 p.m. Thursday January 20th and Funeral 11:00 a.m. Friday, January 21, 2022 with luncheon to follow at Christ Lutheran Church, 5084 Main Street, Maple Plain, MN. Visitation at the church 1 hour prior to the funeral service.
