Tice, Faith Ann
Age 71, of Victoria, passed away peacefully on December 14, 2020 at J.A. Wedum Hospice Home in Brooklyn Park, after a courageous eight-year battle with ovarian cancer. She faced each stage of her illness with quiet strength and grace.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Richard and Dorothy Haver; and her husband, Richard N. Tice, Sr.
She is survived by her daughter Carrie (Raymond) Caruso, brother Richard (Gretchen) Haver, her granddaughter Taylor Caruso, and many cousins, nieces, nephews, neighbors, and friends.
She was born in Omaha, NE and grew up in Minnetonka, MN, where she was active in several youth groups at Fairview Lutheran Church. In 1969, she graduated from Hopkins High School, and attended the University of Minnesota before having a daughter with her first husband. She moved to Ft. Lauderdale with her second husband, Richard, where she raised her daughter and became a Regional Operations Manager for Arrow Electronics for many years. They lived in Raleigh, NC for several years before transferring back to Minnesota, where she was able to spend time with her parents during their last years.
When her daughter’s family joined them in Minnesota, she was able to spend precious time with her only grandchild, Taylor.
She then worked as the Office Manager of our family business, K-BID Online Auctions, for many years before retiring after her cancer diagnosis.
Faith Ann was a classy lady who charmed those around her with her unforgettable smile, her contagious giggle, and her timeless beauty. She will be long remembered for her poise, grace, elegance and confidence.
She was a wonderful writer, who used her unique perspective on the world to express her thoughts in many venues - birthdays, funerals and celebrations. She also shared her advice with encouraging messages to her friends, puppy training boards, and ovarian cancer support groups.
Over the years, she enjoyed swimming, diving, sketching, sewing, tatting, CB radio, cooking, baking, gardening, and traveling. She had a special love for her Westie puppies, nature, interesting rocks and stones, and wildlife.
Due to Covid restrictions, a private visitation was held on December 18, 2020 from 5-7 PM at David Lee Funeral Home, 1220 E Wayzata Blvd, Wayzata, MN.
