Johnson, Jill Annette (Clark)
Age 74 of Wayzata, MN passed away peacefully at her home surrounded by her loved ones on
June 25, 2023. She is preceded in death by parents, Vera and Gordon Clark; brother, Gerald
Clark and brother-in-law, Roger Paine.
Mother, Grandma, Wife, Sister, Auntie, Cousin, and Friend. She was a generous, loving, giving
soul to all of those around her. She would do anything for anyone, especially her family and
those who were in need of help or having hard times. She was an avid seamstress and ceramist
and enjoyed making things for those she loved. She was always trying to give somebody
something. Jill worked very hard her whole life doing hard labor, building houses with Dave,
doing construction, painting, staining, wallpapering, and remodeling. She was one strong and
tough lady - On April 27, 2023 Jill fell while carrying her dog. Being who she is, instead of
protecting herself, she protected her dog and was seriously injured. She suffered a traumatic
brain injury and was in the hospital for 57 days. She fought a tough fight before we brought her
home for peace. She was feisty, sassy, and funny to the end (Just ask the hospital staff!)
She was loved and adored by so many- “A life with love is a life that’s been lived” (Ed Sheeran)
Survived by former husband, Dave; children, Bob (Kim) Johnson, Tracy (Jamie) Clark, Charlie
(Carley) Johnson; grandchildren, Lydia and Jack Johnson, Cody, Quincey, Trent, and Jackson
Clark, Mason and Gage Johnson; twin brother, Jim Clark (Michael Hendrix); sister, Jackie
Paine; brothers, Bruce Clark and Chuck Clark along with many very loved nieces and
nephews, cousins, extended family members and dear friends.
