John Velie Webb

Webb, John Velie age 53, of Plymouth MN, passed away on September 28, 2023.  John was born in Santa Monica, CA on May 26, 1970 and grew up in the Brentwood neighborhood of West Los Angeles. John was preceded in death by his father Roscoe Clayton Webb Jr. and stepmother Lydia McRae Webb.  John is survived by his mother Elizabeth Velie Bovey and two brothers, Roscoe Clayton Webb III (wife, Catherine), and Timothy Deere Webb; stepsister, Mary Ann Hunt Jacobsen (Eric); 5 nephews and nieces, Caitlin Velie White (Joshua), Ashley Elizabeth Webb, Sara Decker Webb, Finley Clayton Webb, and Madigan Velie Webb; step niece, Ella Jacobsen; grand niece, Decklynn Laurel White and grand nephew Camden Ryan White.

John graduated from Windward School in Los Angeles ('89).  He was an accomplished basketball and tennis player and enjoyed doing art wherever his pens could find a canvas.  John provided a great sense of humor in all family social gatherings and enjoyed spending time with family and playing with his nieces and nephew.  He loved movies, books, music, and had a great eye for photography.  John was passionate about exercise and would often be swimming and biking.  He thoroughly enjoyed family vacations whether on beaches, on safari or at the family cabin along the north shore and he relished the opportunities for experiencing new cultures and cuisines.  John will be greatly missed by everyone that knew him.
