Linda Podiak Obituary

Podiak, Linda Jean (Emch) age 75 passed away on February 29, 2020. Born in Toledo Ohio, Linda had an extraordinarily positive attitude and zest for life. She was a loving and dedicated wife, mother, and grandmother. Preceded in death by parents, Howard and Betty Emch, and brother, Larry Emch. Survived by husband of 55 years, Donald Podiak; daughter, Karen; son, Brad and wife Marny; grandchildren, Charles, Lucas and Eleanor Podiak; brothers, Ron and Pete Emch, and extended family and friends. She worked as an Executive Secretary for 24 years at General Mills / Yoplait and was a passionate member of St. Philip the Deacon Lutheran Church where she enjoyed teaching Sunday school and confirmation for many years. She also volunteered her time in the community at various organizations supporting those in need. A private family church service is planned. A Celebration of Life for family and friends will be held at a later date.
