Louis August Golinvaux

Golinvaux, Louis A. age 83, of Wayzata and Scottsdale, AZ died peacefully on November 4, 2019.  Preceded in death by his parents; 3 sisters; 1 brother and son, Stephen.  Lou grew up in Waterloo, Iowa and graduated from the University of Iowa. He worked as an executive in the insurance industry for 45+ years retiring at age 70.  He was a wonderful husband, father, grandfather and friend.  Lou was the kindest gentleman and always willing to help and mentor others.  He is survived by his loving wife of 62 years, Linda; son, Michael (Maryann) Golinvaux; daughter, Anne (Michael) Smith; grandchildren, Nick (Molly) Golinvaux, Brett Golinvaux, Kelsi Golinvaux, Lindsay (Vince) Garver, Blake (Tara) Myhran and Sarah Myhran.  Mass of Christian Burial 11:00 a.m. Friday, November 8, 2019 at the Church of St. Bartholomew, 630 East Wayzata Boulevard, Wayzata with visitation one hour prior to Mass at church.  Memorials preferred to the Minneapolis Foundation Stephen Golinvaux Fund or to donor’s favorite charity.
