Lynn Marie Aronson

Lynn Marie Aronson passed away on September 10, 2022 after a 9 month battle with cancer. She was 65 years old. Lynn was born October 21, 1956 in Minneapolis. Lynn was preceded in death by her Mother, Ruth, and her father, Dick. She is survived by her brothers Rick (wife Bobbie) and Todd (wife Michelle) and by her very best friends Bob Buck and LuAnn Christianson.

Lynn graduated from Mound Westonka High School in Mound, Minnesota in 1974.  She was a very successful salesperson for many high fashion women’s shoe brands in both Minnesota and Florida. She was also a hand model for many billboards in the Twin Cities area. After a decade in Florida in her 30’s in pursuit of her dreams and goals, Lynn returned to her family and friends in Minnesota. 

Lynn had a unique ability to light up any room or situation she walked into. The spirit always lifted and everyone had a smile. Even during her difficult last days her nurses would tell us how great a day they had caring for her and laughing with her and at the grief she gave them. Even with an oxygen mask on she could crack up the entire room….

She cherished her friends, family, pets, Bob, Lu, and any time she was able to spend just having fun laughing and talking…. A Lot. 

Lynn was selfless in dedicating herself to our Mother Ruthie’s care in the last years of her life. One solace is her being close to Mom again whom she cherished and missed greatly. While she suffered from numerous illnesses late in life, Lynn was fearless right to the end. As our Mother said, she was full of “piss and vinegar.” 

She always helped and supported those that needed it. Her smile was not only joyful and mischevious, e it was also infectious to everyone in the room. The small, simple things in her life were the things that she enjoyed the most and brought on her smile. She dearly loved family get-togethers and barbeques and getting everyone laughing. 

Among those that she truly loved were the many dogs, cats and birds in her life. During Lynn’s last months she was more concerned about her cat, Boots, than she was about herself. One of her last wishes was to see pictures of Boots that day to make sure she was OK. 

Our memories will comfort us now and in the days ahead.

Thank you Lynn for being our sister, the many laughs, and your amazing grace over this last year. 

Memorial service Friday September 23, 2022 11:00 AM at David Lee Funeral Home, 1220 Wayzata Blvd East, Wayzata. Visitation 1/2 hour prior to service.
