Pamela Lois (Keegan) Henjum

Pamela Lois Henjum passed away peacefully on September 29, 2022, after complications resulting from cancer. Pamela was a proud mother of three (Kevin, Matthew, and Michael), grandma of six (Kaela, Cameron, Kieran, Veyla, Alice, and Alma), and life partner of her loving husband of 42 years, Brian. She also enthusiastically welcomed daughters-in-law Trina, Judy, and Myra into the family. Pamela lived an adventurous life filled with learning, travel, cats, political engagement, putting up with argumentative sons, and advocating for causes she believed in - especially public education and the environment. A connoisseur of red wines and committed vegetarian before it was fashionable, she was thoughtful in her words and actions and infinitely generous to friends and family, remaining reliable to the end to help others (especially her sons) solve problems. Her favorite moments included spending time with family and attending symphonies and jazz house concerts with friends. A lifelong Minnesotan, her favorite places included London, Washington DC, and the Kona Coast of Hawaii. Memorials preferred to Friends of the Boundary Waters Wilderness, The Nature Conservancy, or the donor’s choice. Memorial service 11:00 a.m. Wednesday at David Lee Funeral Home, 1220 East Wayzata Boulevard, Wayzata with visitation one hour prior.
