of Plymouth, died peacefully surrounded by his family on December 4, 2012 at the age of 91. Phil was born in Proctor and raised in Superior. He was preceded in death by wife, Marion and son, Michael. Survived by six children, Mary (Jerald) Pietan, Anita Fraser, Nancy (Francis) Gildner, Stephen, Sandra (Tom) Urahn, and Kathryn (Mark) DeVinny. Philip is also survived by 13 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren. Philip served our country during WWII in the Army. Past commander of the Wayzata American Legion. English teacher at Wayzata High School for 31 years. Memorial service Thursday, December 13, 2012, 11 AM with visitation at 10 AM at The Church of St. Bartholomew, 630 E Wayzata Blvd, Wayzata. Private interment at Fort Snelling Cemetery. Memorials preferred to the Salvation Army.
He was a loving and wonderful father and grandfather. We will greatly miss him.
