He was born August 19, 1942 in Elmhurst, NY and spent his boyhood in the East, graduating from the Gunnery School in 1961. In 1965 Revis received a Bachelor of Science degree from Clarkson College of Technology (now Clarkson University), for which he remained a supportive alumnus. His early business career included executive positions nationally and in Australia, which included international travel. In later years Revis owned his own company. His employees knew him as a principled and caring man.
A very active member of Rotary International, Revis served as president in Wausau, WI and was honored as a Paul Harris Fellow. In 1983 he was appointed to the Wisconsin Governor’s Committee on International Trade. Membership in the Mensa Society reflected his keen intellect. Revis was a member of St. Batholomew’s, an avid perennial gardener, a lover of animals, lifelong golfer, and a frequenter of the Rockies. An advanced and graceful skier, he took great pleasure in the 70+ Ski Club. Known for his quick wit, his smile and the twinkle in his eye will forever be with us.
