Passed away peacefully surrounded by her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren, after a long struggle with dementia. She was born November 5, 1932, the oldest daughter of Jack and Helen (Kennedy) Dreier.
She attended school in Hawarden, lowa. During her high school years she was an accomplished vocalist competing in many state competi-tions. She married Jack Lamoureux and together they had seven children. She lived in Wayzata until their children were grown and then she and Jack retired in Venice, Florida. There she became involved in many community organizations.
She and Jack were very committed to Loveland Center, a place that held a special place in their hearts.
She loved reading, travel and spending time with her family.
Rita's two loves were her family and her faith. She could accomplish anything with these by her side. She is survived by her children, Renee Noland of Minnetonka, MN, Robbie and husband Topper Swanson of Denver, CO, Ted and wife Linda of Batesville, AR, Gina and husband Dan Carlson of Wayzata, MN, 12 grandchildren and 7 great-grand children. She was preceded in death by her husband Jack; daughters, Rhonda and Rise; son, Timothy and granddaughter, Meggie.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
