Obituary

Dyrdahl, Sandra Lou Urke, age 80, of Wayzata passed away August 23, 2023. Preceded in death by parents, Louis and Doris Urke. Sandy was a defense department auditor at Honeywell for 20 years after proudly earning her accounting degree from the University of Minnesota’s Carlson School of Business. An avid traveler and reader, she always made time for family and friends, with all social events revolving around good food and wine. Survived by husband, Howard Dyrdahl; sister, Brenda (Philip Bly) Urke; daughter, Kim (Bob) Perry; son, Craig Buesing; grandchildren, Dan (Ali) Zimmerman, Raya (Nate Brennan) Zimmerman, Robyn (Brent) Ganeles, and Shane Perry; nieces, Prairie (Keala Ede) Bly and Liv Bly; nephew, Brendt Bly; two great-grandchildren; Howard’s family Noel Schewe and sons, Johnny, Joey and Jamesy; Tad (Lorie) Dyrdahl and daughters, Emily and Ana Dyrdahl; many other relatives and friends. Celebration of Life with luncheon to follow Saturday, October 7, 2023 at 11 AM at Wayzata Community Church, 125 East Wayzata Boulevard, Wayzata.
