Out of the vortex into serenity
On January 29th, 2020 lovely Sarah Griffin peacefully slipped out of life’s temporary swirling vortex and into the eternal serenity of her heavenly home. She was born on May 20, 1975 and died of natural causes.
It wouldn’t do to hide the fact that Sarah long battled addiction; sobriety demanded truth. She’d be the last to tell you her life had been pristine and carefree, but the first to tell you about her joyful rebirth found in Jesus and her subsequent years of sobriety.
Sarah leaves behind: cherished daughters, Bridget and Emily; parents, Loren Skelton, Rev. Susan and Larry Thompson; sister and brother-in-law, Lisa and Chad Jensen; grandmother, Beverly Schultz; step siblings, Dana Herring, Denise Thompson Loechler, and Craig Thompson; beloved aunts, uncles, cousins, and many friends.
A memorial service will be held at 11am on Wednesday, February 5th at Serenity Village Church, 4100 Douglas Drive North, Crystal, MN
Visitation at 9:30 am at the church.
Memorials preferred in lieu of flowers to Serenity Village Community Church.
…”Our light and momentary troubles are achieving for us an eternal glory that far outweighs them all. So we fix our eyes not on what is seen, but on what is unseen, since what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal.” — 2 Corinthians 4:16-18
