Age 73, of Plymouth, passed away May 23, 2020. Preceded in death by her loving parents, William (Bill) G. and Virginia (Ginny) L. Baetz and her brother, W. Timothy Baetz.
A partner with the Stingley & Ho legal practice, Sue was a defender of civil and employment rights. She began practicing law in 1980 and was a plaintiff’s attorney as well as a highly regarded Mediator. Sue earned many accolades as an Attorney. She was named a Minnesota Super Lawyer many times, in 2018 she was awarded Attorney of the Year and in 2016 was the recipient Leonard Lindquist Distinguished Practice Award.
She was an amazing mother, grandmother, and friend. She was an avid and caring dog lover of many breeds. Her main hobby was decorating her home over and over and over again.
Survived by her son, Tom (Dawn) L. Stingley and daughter, Amanda (Jeremy) V. Burns, her 5 grandchildren, Alexander, Abigail, Tanner, Ian, and Carter and her sister-in-law, Anne Baetz and niece, Elizabeth Baetz.
Sue was a fighter and battled Lupus her entire adult life. In Lieu of flowers please send donations to the Lupus Foundation of Minnesota, www.Lupusmn.org as she would most appreciate this gesture.
